This natural loofah is a great alternative to plastic exfoliator pads. It fits neatly into the hand and when immersed in water swells up to become a soft, spongy and flexible pad. Each pad will last for months with normal use and when worn out can be composted.

How to use: rinse thoroughly before first use. In bath or shower, use on damp skin with soap or gel in a gentle circular motion to clean, freshen, exfoliate and invigorate skin.

They are washable and reusable round pads for make up removal or many other facial skin care uses. Why use them? Much better for the environment than using facial wipes. Much better for your pocket as you can use them again and again!

We currently stock the bee design, with either a white or grey terry towelling backing.

One side is cotton fabric, the other is bamboo terry towelling. Bamboo towelling is softer and more absorbent than cotton. It is also naturally resistant to odour, mould, mildew, and bacteria. Bamboo is also a better choice from sustainability point of view as it is a much easier crop to grow compared to cotton. The plant is naturally resistant to insects or infecting pathogens so requires little or no pesticides. It requires a lot less water to grow than cotton. It is also very fast growing and self replenishes, producing new plants itself.
